| As a distinguished member of designh hotels TM Hotel BASICO recently opened on July 1st, 2005 in Playa del Carmen. Located just off 5th avenue, nearby restaurants, shops, a bustling nightlife and only a few steps away from the ocean. BASICO is full of colorful detailing, plants and rich texture, that are a reminder of popular Mexican culture. With comfort as the principal element, the whole decor is made of recycled materials, resin, plumbing tubes, different types of wood, paint, national cottons, rubber tires, plastic, glass and latex. The entrance is through the ground floor bar with a 15 meter high ceiling.The 12 rooms and 3 suites are softly lit for an intimate feel. The "basic" point of the rooms are the multi-use high beds with integrated desk, closet,amenities, refrigerator, and safe. With open plan bathrooms and tubs. Fun kits to go to the sea: floating tires, fins and complimentary beach club passes.
