AIRMAN KILLS BEAR IN ELMENDORF This would cause a person to soil their pants!! Alaska Bear Hunting Story. This bear was killed by an airman from Elmendorf on Hitchenbrook Island. The bear stood 12'6" and estimated over 1600lbs. The airman was walking to his hunting area and the bear stood up only 35 yards away. The bear dropped down and charged straight for the Airman. He unloaded his gun and the bear fell 10 yards from him.
Josh Beaman, 21, of Berlin, WI shot 2 coyotes on the opening morning of the 2001 achery deer season. He seen a total of 5 coyotes that morning. They were taken in the town of Saxeville in Waushara County. He used a Mathews bow and spit fire broadheads with carbon arrows.

This is 13 yr old Katie Schroeder's first deer. Opening morning of the 2001 gun deer season in Southern Wisconsin. Opening Morning We sat in our duel permanent tree stand. Katie sat patient watching the trail she had seen several deer on during early bow season. We were only in our stand for an hour or so when She nudged my arm letting me know she had seen something. I couldn't turn around until she was standing. She lifted her Remington 20 gauge as if she was a well seasoned hunter. Then I heard her whisper "can I shoot it"? "It's your call" I whispered back. She shot and watched as the doe stumbled into the brush. "I hit it. I hit it"! she said with the biggest smile. "I hit it in the shoulder just like I am supposed to". Story by Mom
