Clark Co, ATV Trail Listings


Clark County – 80 miles of trail with additional interconnecting routes, total of 130 miles. Trails wind and loop through the 133,000-acre Clark County Forest. Winter ATV trails total 180 miles.

Trails connected to 5 county campgrounds and parks. 6 strategically located parking lots serve the trails. Gas and food is available within the trail system.

All ATV trails and routes are closed for the period of March 15th to May 1st of each year and during the shooting hours of gun deer season.

ATV’s must operate on the designated trails and routes. Off trail riding prohibited.

State licensed motorcycles operated by a licensed driver are allowed on the ATV trails and routes. Non street legal motorcycles can only operate on the Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trail.

Off Road Motorcycle Trail Listings


Clark County - Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trails. More than 18 miles of trail, 4 loops, wind through a portion of the 133,000-acre Clark County Forest. Trails are primarily marked with white fiberglass posts and periodic motorcycle decals.


A convenient trailhead is located 8 miles west of Neillsville on Highway 10. Trailhead includes youth loop, intensive use area, vault toilet and well. Motorcycle Trail Use sticker required.


All motorcycle trails are closed for the period of March 15th to May 1st of each year and during the shooting hours of gun deer season.


Motorcycles may only operate on the designated Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trail. Off trail riding prohibited. Only street legal motorcycles, driven by licensed operators, are allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail System.


Snyder Campground is near by for overnight accommodations.
